Congratulations: Gov's Daughter Bags USA University of Pittsburgh Degree by Dr. S. Rumala.

 The distinctive ceremony took place at the Peterson Events Center at the University of Pittsburgh on April 27, 2008, followed by a dinner at an elegant and famous restaurant.  The parents of the graduate were present as well as friends and well wishers.  Dr Buba, (Farida’s guardian) advised her to pursue her dreams.  Other advice given to the graduate included “reaching for the stars.”  Barrister Abraham gave this excellent advice - “follow your mom’s humility.”  My personal advice to the graduate was this- “You must beat your Dad’s record.”  Of course, the only way she can beat her dad’s record is to pursue a dual MD/PhD degree program; since her Dad holds a PhD and Farida plans to pursue a doctorate in medicine degree.  Throughout the entire experience, Farida’s mother has been filled with gratitude about her daughter’s great accomplishments.  The Governor, his wife and Farida wish to thank their family and friends for their continuing support.  Congratulations Farida and best wishes for the future!  We are very proud of you.  Let your light shine.  Follow your dreams.  Your talent and determination will take you far.
